This past Sunday marked the last regular track presence from track superstar Louis-Philippe Roy at the Rideau Carleton Raceway. Louis-Philippe has decided to pursue his full-time career on the WEG circuit. We want to thank him for his time here at Rideau Carleton and wish him good luck in all of his future endeavors.
Louis-Philippe had a successful last evening here at Rideau Carleton, winning the Winners Over Handicap class for pacers. He won driving Ufdragons Rocket in 1:53.3 with trainer Yves Tessier. The Love Bug finished in second driven by Richard Simard and in third was Solid Performance with Guy Gagnon. The other main event of the evening, the Winners Over Handicap class for trotters, was won by Heres The Magic, driven by Richard Simard with trainer Blake Curran. The second place position went to Raising Richard with Ted McDonald and third was awarded to What a Rush with Brett MacDonald.
There were winners across the board on Sunday night, as four drivers finished the evening with two wins each. Sylvain Lacaille won with Optima Kemp and Beach Runner AM, Tyler Moore was a winner with Well Played Out and A And C Artist, Louis-Philippe Roy received his wins with Libertys Best Star and Ufdragons Rocket and Guy Gagnon left the night a winner with Shanghai Kang and Private Interview.
