Recap: Winner’s circle repeats.

dfdfrefWe could feel the anticipation last Sunday night in the paddock as our athletes could finally reach the track. With only one race night per week during winter, our horses couldn’t wait to pace their way down the finish line. This helped along a few drivers to win multiple wins, such as Louis-Philippe Roy who reaped the most first places with 4 wins. Horses Herestojessica, Aarons Mattjesty,  Bettim Jenny  &  Crafty Master brought him to the winner’s circle. Indeed, the 6 year old pacer Crafty Master made his Rideau debut by capturing the 10th race in a blazing  1 :55.3 for driver Louis-Philippe Roy and trainer Macy Cassell. Not far behind, Guy Gagnon ended the night with 3 wins with the help of Loves A Challenge, Four Starz Speed & Norstar Seelster. Tyler Moore ended the night with 2 wins of his own, as he drove Future Shark & Wildcat Cam to the finish line.

On the trainer’s side, 3 trainers got to see their protégés hit the winners circle.  Yves Tessier ( Marc Hanover &  Aarons Mattjesty ),   Jamie Copley (Future Shark & Wildcat Cam )  and  Guy Gagnon (Four Starz Speed  &  Norstar Seelster ).

In our main event of the evening, Wildcat Cam captured the Winners Over class for pacers  in 1 :57 for driver Tyler Moore and trainer Jamie Copley.
