Recap: Perfect Pair!

Thursday night proved to be a successful night for trainer, Yves Tessier and driver Jonathan Lachance. The dynamic duo picked two wins together with the help of Royal Point and Marc Hanover. Driver Johnathan Lachance received a third win with April Bandit, successfully earning himself a hat trick that evening. Three horses were able to record their first win of the season; April Bandit in 1:59.1, Catch Twenty Two in 1:56.2 and Noplay in 2:01.2.

The dynamic duo of Yves Tessier and Jonathan Lachance continued their triumph into Sunday evening as they picked up the win for feature race of the night with Ufdragons Rocket. He is owned by Francois Morin of Beauceville, QC and is the eight year old son of Dragon Again. Bazinga Brad came in second with Stephane Gendron and third place was awarded to Shadow Newton driven by Ted McDonald. This was Ufdragons Rocket’s third straight win in the Winners Over handicap class for pacers with driver Jonathan Lachance and trainer Yves Tessier. Lachance and Tessier proved again to be a successful team when they won with Liberty’s Best Star later in the evening.

Guy Gagnon had an outstanding night as both a driver and trainer. He picked up a hat trick as a driver with Putnams New Year, Private Interview and Shanghai Kang. Gagnon also trained Private Interview and Shanghai Kang, giving him two wins as a trainer. Driver Sylvain Lacaille also had a good night by winning two races with Ice O Late and Adamncam.
